Bottlemoth formed in January 2024, releasing their first album 'Even Us Ghosts' in October that same year.
Since this point the South West UK have toured and shared stages with The Dangerous Summer, Cold Years, Jim Lockey and the Solemn Sun, China Bears and Adult Leisure. They've also appeared at notable festivals including Underground, Isle of Wight and BBC Introducing at Littler Orchard - to name a few.
Bottlemoth have been celebrated by the likes of BBC Introducing, XS Noise, Far Out Magazine, RTE, Fame Magazine, Clash and God Is In The TV.
Influenced by Manchester Orchestra, The Gaslight Anthem, The Wonder Years and Frightened Rabbit, their sound is honest and heartfelt, emotive and dynamic.
Suki is the first new single to come in 2026. The song shares its name with Ethan and Chessa’s beloved cat, meaning ‘loved one’ in Japanese (好き).
Inspired by guitar music of the 90’s and early 2000’s, the sound is drowned in nostalgia. As if drawn from a movie, the song pulls you in and bears repeating. It’s a soundtrack for where you belong; for holding onto the loved ones that ground you; and for finding calm among the chaos.
'Suki' marks a new direction in sound for the band, exploring richer distorted sonic pallets against their emotive, lyrical and dynamic staple.
‘Even Us Ghosts’ is the debut album from Bottlemoth and was released in October 2024.
The record is a coming of age album.
From independence to returning home; celebrating friendships, first loves, growing up and rumination of heartbreak. The sound is a melting pot of influences from folk, rock & indie, where each songs pools in emotive and detailed arrangements.
The album was written and produced by Bottlemoth, with additional recordings with Joe Marsh at Orchard Studios and mixed by Adrian Hall (Tori Amos, Bess Atwell, Nova Twins, Cassia).
